The Affordable Double Breasted Blazer

When it comes to affordable blazers, it doesn’t get much better than these two blazers from Lioness. They are double breasted and full of so much personality. I don’t typically wear white blazers, but I was curious what this would look like. And it did not disappoint in the least bit. In fact, I prefer the white blazer to the black. However, in terms of function, the black is likely more practical.

I would definitely suggest taking any blazer bought off the rack to a tailor. As you can see from the photos, the sleeves need to be shortened and the waist needs to be cinched in on the black blazer. These small changes will be game-changers.

When I say affordable, that usually comes at somewhat of a cost. Here, that is in material. However, I have been checking some of the $400+ blazers out there, and I don’t think quality materials are even being used at the luxury brands (I’m talking everything is made from polyester). So, if the decision is to pay less than $100 or more than $400, each for a polyester blazer, I’d go with these Lioness blazers, each less than $100. They also have so much more personality than I’ve seen with most of the luxury brands.

P.S. Don’t you just love the Bottega dupes and the Senreve bag!

XOXO
