  • JCrew Field Jacket

    JCrew Field Jacket

Click any image above to shop! I have owned this JCrew Field Jacket for three years now, and I cannot say enough good things about it. It is a bit of an investment, but it is well worth it! It gives me English countryside vibes, and when I envisioned myself in the English countryside wearing this jacket, there was no turning back. It had to be mine. It is quilted and honestly is more comfy than a similar Burberry quilted jacket. I can’t recommend it enough. Now, because Houston’s weather is still warm, I paired the jacket with shorts and a sweatshirt, but of course, it looks excellent with jeans.…

Old Navy: Cozy Jacket in a Pop of Color

Click on any image above to view and/or shop! I love this pop of color, especially in a jacket. I will say it is a bit scratchy. Put it through the wash, and it will get softer though. Overall, this is an affordable option to some of the more luxe brands out there. And I keep reaching for it when I leave the house because I just love the color so much! Pair it with a pair of jeans, slip-on shoes, a fun graphic tees, and a beanie to complete the look! XOXO Do you feel influenced yet? (follow me @carissa_cruse)

  • The Affordable Double Breasted Blazer

Click any image above to shop even the jeans! When it comes to affordable blazers, it doesn’t get much better than these two blazers from Lioness. They are double breasted and full of so much personality. I don’t typically wear white blazers, but I was curious what this would look like. And it did not disappoint in the least bit. In fact, I prefer the white blazer to the black. However, in terms of function, the black is likely more practical. I would definitely suggest taking any blazer bought off the rack to a tailor. As you can see from the photos, the sleeves need to be shortened and the…

  • Abercrombie Sherpa Button Up Shirt Jacket – Shacket

Click any image above to shop, even the basic white tank! The shirt jacket or shacket… I’m all the way in on this trend especially with this Abercrombie number. I am in an XS, and it is definitely an oversized fit. I just ordered the XXS for size comparison because the XS is roomy. My usual Abercrombie size is a Small/Medium, so I would definitely say size down one or two sizes. It is oh so cozy and very warm. Pair this with shorts if you’re still in transitional weather (like me) or with cute furry boots and black jeans for super comfy luxe look! XOXO Do you feel influenced…

  • I LOVE Sweater Tanks

Click any image above to shop even the Louis Vuitton Neverfull! I own a handful of sweater tanks, and I just love them! I realize they don’t make the most sense depending on the weather. They do tend to be a bit warm (obviously!), but the fact that they’re a tank makes them a great piece as the seasons transition. I paired this black sweater tank with a simple pair of jeans and sandals and feel that this look could be my everyday look very easily! XOXO Do you feel influenced yet? (follow me @carissa_cruse)
