  • Birthday Outfits: a Two Part Event

Click any image above to view and/or shop! This year’s birthday required two outfits, like most birthdays! Lol! I needed a day look that was more casual for voting and getting lunch and then a nighttime look for bowling and dinner. For the evening, my husband made reservations to go bowling and then go to my birthday dinner after that. So, I needed an outfit that would fit both occasions and transition well. I found the little number above at a boutique in Houston, but they have a website. So you’re in luck! The pants are a looser, slinky material with a slit up the leg going to about mid-calf.…

    Billie Skincare Products

Click on any image above to view and/or shop! I had been looking to cleanup my medicine cabinet for awhile now. I have tried so many different skincare products that it didn’t seem like much to try another one. LOL! Enter Billie. I was first drawn to it because of the dry shampoo. It’s called “Floof,” which that name alone would make me try it. But it shakes out instead of sprays out. I like this because I would imagine there are chemicals added to the spray dry shampoos that aren’t in Billie’s. And I’m not looking to add harmful ingredients onto my head. I also really like that they…

  • Target Try-On: Halloween-inspired Sweatshirts

Click any image above to view and/or shop! Unfortunately, I won’t be dressing up for Halloween this year, so instead, I wanted to find a fun alternative to a costume like these sweatshirts. I absolutely adore Snoopy, so that was an obvious choice. And I equally love skull and crossbones. I can wear the skull and crossbones sweatshirt year-round, and I intend to. The materials are so soft, and they are true to size. I’m wearing a size XS, and they are each only $19.99. Can’t beat that price! Enjoy! XOXO Do you feel influenced yet? (follow me @carissa_cruse)

  • Target Try-On: Loungewear Try-On

Click any image above to view and/or shop! Head over to my stories on Instagram for a full Target loungewear try-on session. These matching sets are so soft and comfortable. And I think you could even get away with wearing the black jogger set out in public versus just as loungewear around the house. I tend to struggle with joggers. The cut seems to make my hips look larger than they are. However, if I pull up the pant legs just a little bit, the proportions are evened out, making them look really cute. I also think these are work from home approved. Enjoy! XOXO Do you feel influenced yet?…

  • Abercrombie Romper

Click any image above to view and/or shop! I was a bit skeptical about this romper even after putting it on. The back crosses just above where you can see your bra strap. So, you are left with three options: 1. buy a backless sticky bra, 2. embrace how pretty your bra is and show it off to the world, or 3. go sans bra. Personally, I am so uncomfortable when not wearing a bra out of my home, so that option was out for me. And I am too cheap to use my sticky bra on a casual outfit. So, I was left with option 2. I wore a…
