• Mother of Dragons

Top: Mother of Dragons Tee simpleeDmaree; Shorts: Else Denim Green Wash Shorts (no longer sold – I looked high & low); Headband I have two things to say. One, do you like certain pieces of clothing so much that you don’t actually wear them very often in case you can’t replace them? That’s how I feel about these shorts, and now I am going to have be EXTRA careful about wearing them because I cannot find them ANYWHERE. I bought them at Macy’s in their Impulse section awhile back. I particularly like these shorts because of the stretch. Most denim shorts don’t have much give, but these shorts feel more…

  • If I were to Book a Trip…

Dress: Banana Republic (not the exact one – but this linked dress would go equally well); Shoes: Chloe Woody Flat Mule in Canvas; Purse: Gucci Disco Bag; Earrings: Bauble Bar (sold out, but very cute alternatives) If I were to book a trip, I don’t even know where I would go. I have so many places that I need to explore. However, given that this is a white dress option with cute (not necessarily the most comfortable walking shoes), I would opt for what I would imagine to be a low-key, ultra glamorous trip to the South of France. I could envision a little sight-seeing, shopping, and a delicious lunch…

  • Sunday Best

Dress: Maude (this is old)Shoes: Nordstrom BP Gabby Woven Wedge Sandal Full Disclosure, I did not wear this to church. It’s a bit too low cut for me to wear to church without a bandeau cami underneath. However, this bright pink dress was the perfect Sunday brunch piece. It’s fun! It’s flirty! And it’s summery! Also, the material was much more suited for warm weather than some of the other “summer” dresses I have worn. XOXO Do you feel influenced yet? (follow me @carissa_cruse)

  • Lazy Dress

Dress: Old Navy Fit and Flare Cami Mini Dress Basic Black I don’t know about you, but I feel like I am getting lazier and lazier when it comes to getting dressed. All I want to do is just throw something on, but if I throw sweats on day after day, then I feel sloppy. Enter, the dress! Dresses are by far the easiest outfits. Throw one on, and you have a complete look. I love this Old Navy option in black. I’ve worn it both casual and dressy. Aside from the material, no one would know it’s designed to be a casual dress. I pair it with a black…

  • Sweater + Denim Shorts

Sweater: JCrew Black Cashmere PullOver Sweater; Shorts: Agolde Parker Lowkey; Shoes: Tory Burch Sneakers; Headband: Stoney Clover Lane (Similar); Necklace: Macy’s Pearl 14k Gold; Purse: Gucci SoHo Leather Disco Bag (Beige) or Black Generally, if it’s shorts weather, then it’s not sweater weather. Either you’re too cold or too hot, which makes this outfit the perfect casual date night outfit! I always get cold in restaurants especially during the summer months. So, roll up your sweater sleeves and throw on your shorts, and you are ready to go (and not get cold)! XOXO Do you feel influenced yet? (follow me @carissa_cruse)
